Toyota will create a second brand hybrids

Concern Toyota plans to establish by 2009 a second brand, which will produce the hybrid model. It is expected that the annual sales amount to 100 000 vehicles. According to Japanese publication Nikkei, total sales of Toyota hybrid models by 2010 will reach 1 million copies. Already existing Prius hybrid brand expects many changes. The plans three new models - Prius A, B and C. They come on the market in 2009, 2010 and 2011, respectively, and will vary in size and class. As previously stated one of the vice-presidents of Toyota Masatami Takimoto (Masatami Takimoto), by 2020 hybrids would become the concern for basic proposal on automobile market.
